Sealed Iron Filings in Plastic Case. Everyone remembers the demonstration from school... The teacher would get out a magnet, put a piece of paper on top, then pour some iron filings on the paper. A few careful shakes and - Voila! - the magnetic field outlines became visible! The only problem was clean-up. If you got any of the filings in direct contact with the magnet, good luck trying to get them all off! So along comes this viewer - Iron filings in sealed hard plastic. No mess. No fuss. Re-use it again and again. The case measures 3 5/8" long x 2 5/8" wide x 1/4" thick. A great teaching tool, and just simply fun to play with!
